Expressions of Interest are sought from registered medical practitioners who can contribute to the safe conduct of the Combat Sports contests.
The NSW Combat Sports Authority will have responsibility for the supervision of all sports identified in the Combat Sports Act 2008, including Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Cage Fighting and Mixed Martial Arts.
A medical practitioner will be required to attend all regulated Combat Sports contests and observe the conduct of the event, render medical assistance to injured combatants and assess injuries sustained in contests.
Fees will be paid according to the size and significance of the event.
