Linking to our website and web banners

Sport and Recreation (part of theOffice of Communities) welcomes links from your website to www.dsr.nsw.gov.au

If you plan to create a link, we request that you adopt the following guidelines:

  • The correct name for this site is Sport and Recreation.
  • The correct web site address (URL) is www.dsr.nsw.gov.au
  • Links to Sport and Recreation's site should generally be to the home page (www.dsr.nsw.gov.au)
  • Linking to other parts of the site poses some risk, as the page to which you link may move or become unavailable.
  • Permission is restricted to making a text link or using approved web banners below, without any alteration of the site's contents

Sport and Recreation web banners

The banners below are provided should sports clubs and organisations, government, local councils or other related websites wish to provide a graphical link to Sport and Recreation's website.

Please note: These banners may not be modified in any way without Sport and Recreation's written permission. Sport and Recreation reserves the right to request the removal of banners from websites inconsistent with Sport and Recreation's message. Banners must be linked to www.dsr.nsw.gov.au. The target site must be loaded into an independent browser window, not into an iframe. Please refer also to general linking guidelines above.

How to use

Copy and paste the associated html code into your own page. This will pull the logo/image directly from our server.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to save the image on your own web server, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click on the banner you would like to put on your webpage.
  2. Select "Save Picture As…" to save the banner to your hard drive.
  3. Upload the banner to your server.
  4. Copy and paste the associated html code into your own page.
  5. Remember to change the image path (ie src="this/text/here.gif")to point to where you have saved the image on your own server.
