Girls' cricket camp

Hey girls – do you love Summer? Come along to learn and play Australia’s favourite sport – CRICKET!

Sport and Recreation in partnership with Cricket NSW are holding a cricket skill development camp in January for girls from across NSW.

This program is perfect for girls of all levels of cricketing ability. Whether you are keen to try cricket for the first time, want to play socially or are serious about the sport and play at a representative level, this camp is for you.

Participants will receive expert coaching in all areas of the game, including batting, bowling, catching and fielding. You will also learn how to wicketkeep and develop your hand-eye coordination to improve your skills in the game.

All coaching is provided by Cricket NSW, together with players from the NSW Breakers women’s team.

  • Age group: Girls 10 to 17 years This program is for kids/teens
  • Date/s: Monday 11 - Wednesday 13 January 2010     how to enrol
  • Time: 9am on Monday and concludes 3pm on Wednesday
  • Cost: $225 (including GST). Cost includes hat, t-shirt, meals, accommodation, coaching and recreational facilities.
  • Venue: Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre, (25km east of Wagga Wagga)
  • Own transport is required. This camp does not include transport to or from Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre.

How to enrol

You can enrol into our programs by phone, fax, mail or in person. Please ensure you have read our booking terms and conditions.

  • By phone: Call 13 13 02 and have your credit card details ready (Visa, Mastercard).
  • By fax: Complete the enrolment form, include your credit card details and fax to (02) 6928 4384
  • By mail: Complete the enrolment form include your credit card details, a cheque or money order and mail it to: Sport and Recreation, 1980 Sturt Highway, Borambola via Wagga Wagga NSW 2650
  • In person: Visit Sport and Recreation, Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre, 1980 Sturt Hwy, Borambola via Wagga Wagga NSW 2650 .

Booking terms and conditions

  1. The fee must accompany the enrolment, otherwise the enrolment will not be accepted.
  2. Enrolment is necessary prior to the commencement of the program to secure your place.
  3. A receipt confirming the details of your booking will be issued after payment has been received.
Refunds
  1. If a request for a refund is made within five (5) working days of the program commencement, no refund of program fees will be given (including GST).
  2. If a request for a refund is made (and a written request received) five (5) working days or more prior to the program commencement, a refund will be given less a 20% administration fee of the total program fee (including GST).
  3. Refunds will not be given for partial attendance.
  4. Refunds will be paid at the completion of the program.
Program cancellations

Communities NSW reserves the right to cancel a program/s. Every effort will be made to give reasonable notice to those who have enrolled when a program is cancelled. Those enrolled will be given a full refund.
