
The respite camps for teens with a disability program is provided by Sport and Recreation and Ageing, Disability and Home Care.
The camps offer teenagers aged 13 to 17 years with an intellectual disability the opportunity to attend a Sport and Recreation Centre where they’ll experience new and challenging outdoor activities, develop self-esteem and social living skills and make new friends.
Camps will be made available to teens who may otherwise have limited access to leisure and recreational activities. Some weekend camps are also available for siblings of teens with a disability.

Families/carers may be required to transport participants to a centralised location. This will be negotiated with families once applicant's eligibility has been approved.
