Venue facilities

The Sydney International Shooting Centre has drawn on leading designers, architects and technicians to produce the most advanced facility of its kind in the world. Sydney-based Gazzard Sheldon Architects designed the venue, while Swiss-based Sius Ascor provided state-of-the-art electronic target and scoring equipment to give the elite and novice sports shooter the best possible experience.

Indoor ranges

10-metre range suitable for all indoor air rifle, air pistol and running target air events. 25-metre range which is suitable for all rimfire precision sport and rapid-fire pistol shooting. 50-metre Olympic-quality range is suitable for rimfire rifle and Free pistol competition. It also features a 10-stand bench for rest rifle competition with a total capacity of 60 stands for competition and a Finals Range, the first all-in-one range in the world.

Outdoor ranges

Three standard outdoor shotgun ranges which now provide facilities for all Olympic disciplines including Olympic skeet, Olympic trap, and Olympic double trap. There are further eight standard ranges available for trap, skeet, down-the-line trap, American skeet and five stand sporting clay.

Laser clay target shooting

Laser clay target shooting facility allows up to five shooters to safely stand side-by-side and fire at the clays using modified deactivated original shotguns, firing harmless infra-red light beams. Hits and misses from each gun are tallied on a computerised scoreboard, complete with realistic sound effects. Contact us for further information, group bookings and rates.

Breezeway

A large open area that showcases the local area's natural features while providing excellent facilities to hold trade shows, product launches, corporate and club activities or social events.

Club room

The club room is complete with kitchenette and BBQ facilities. These are available to groups using the conference and meeting rooms who may wish to self-cater.

Conference room

The SISC conference room is an excellent facility for business meetings, training conferences, seminars or social functions. The room is equipped with a whiteboard, projectors, TV, video and DVD facilities. Accommodates 70 (seated) or 100 (standing).

Meeting room

The meeting room is ideal for small groups to business meetings or training conferences. Accommodates 16 (seated) or 25 (standing).

On-site accommodation

SISC has an on-site cottage which sleeps 12 - 14 people. Accommodation bookings are available to groups and individuals. Bookings are essential, contact us for further information and prices.

Accessible features

The Sydney International Shooters Centre was designed in accordance with the Olympic Co-ordination Authority's Olympic and Paralympic Access Guidelines.

The following are available for those with special needs:

• Wheelchair accessible toilets and showers
• Disabled parking bays in front of the main building
• Hearing loops in all ranges
• Lift in the entrance of the main building.

Safety and restrictions

Because of the nature of the sport, spectators are requested to turn off all mobile phones and flash photography is not be used during training and competition. It is mandatory that spectators and competitors wear suitable hearing protection.

The SISC shop provides a variety of ammunition, gun care cleaning products, merchandise, lights snack and refreshments.
