Holiday Camp staff introductory training

Sport and Recreation is looking for enthusiastic, motivated people who enjoy the outdoors and working with children to deliver our Holiday Camps at our 11 NSW Centres.

Our Holiday Camps are offered to school age children and to families during the NSW school holidays, they are known as either Kids’ Camps or Family Camps.

There are three levels of Holiday Camp staff that provide pastoral care and support to participants while they are on these camps; they are Assistant Group Leaders, Group Leaders and Assistant Program Coordinators. For more information on these roles visit our casual employment information.

To gain employment on these camps, you must complete the Sport and Recreation introductory Holiday Camp staff training.

Who can enrol for training?

Training is available to those who have:

  • completed four years of secondary education
  • turned 18 years of age and left high-school

 

Training programs are popular. We advise to book early to avoid disappointment. If you have any further questions please call our staff on 13 13 02.
