Intermediate general principles of coaching (correspondence)
The National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) is a progressive coach education program. It offers opportunities for coaches to improve their knowledge so they can continue developing our sporting talent.
Intermediate general principles of coaching – by correspondence
An Intermediate general principles of coaching lecture course is also available in Sydney.
Coaches must have their level one or equivalent accreditation with at least 12 months coaching experience.
The Intermediate general principles of coaching course complements the sports-specific component provided by your national sporting organisation. The coaching principles component combined with the sport specific component will give the coach level two accreditation within the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme.

Competency-based course
The course will continue throughout 2009/10. You can start and finish the course in your own time but the course must be completed by 30 June, 2010.
Cost includes course guidelines, assesement marking and course texts.

How to enrol

Booking terms and conditions
- The fee must accompany the enrolment, otherwise the enrolment will not be accepted.
- Enrolment is necessary prior to the commencement of the program to secure your place.
- A receipt confirming the details of your booking will be issued after payment has been received.
Refunds
- If a request for a refund is made within five (5) working days of the program commencement, no refund of program fees will be given (including GST).
- If a request for a refund is made (and a written request received) five (5) working days or more prior to the program commencement, a refund will be given less a 20% administration fee of the total program fee (including GST).
- Refunds will not be given for partial attendance.
- Refunds will be paid at the completion of the program.
Program cancellations
Communities NSW reserves the right to cancel a program/s. Every effort will be made to give reasonable notice to those who have enrolled when a program is cancelled. Those enrolled will be given a full refund.
