What's on at Sydney International Regatta Centre

A multi-purpose venue, the Regatta Centre hosts rowing, sprint canoe / kayak, dragon boating, triathlon, running, swimming, cycling events and activities. Plus model car, boat and plane events, festivals and more all year round!

Venue Closure

Following a blue-green algal bloom on Penrith Lakes, Sydney International Regatta Centre is temporarily closed to the general public for all on-water activities from 24 April 2024.

The safety of patrons is our top priority and we conduct daily water monitoring to determine whether the Lakes are safe to use..

The venue remains open for land-based activities. To view this weeks opening hours visit our Opening Hours page.

We are working with all affected venue hirers to arrange alternative dates for their events.

Events at SIRC

The Sydney International Regatta Centre is an event venue that opens to recreational users on non-event days.
Please note that during most events, the venue is closed to public recreation. We recommend you check our daily opening hours page before you visit the venue to avoid being turned away on event days.
Opening hours are subject to late changes.

Parking

On non-event days, all public parking is free in the P3 carpark. Once you enter Gate A, turn right at the entry screen and park in marked bays to then access the walking and cycle paths.

Access to parking on the Island is restricted to events, training and restaurant bookings only, and a pre-issued access code is required to pass through the boom gates.

At no time are vehicles permitted to be driven on the paths, or grassed areas.

During some events a parking fee is payable at the gate on arrival via Eftpos.
